Similar to his entrance last night at WrestleMania 42, Punk walked out without theme music before leading the crowd in an “it’s clobbering time” chant. Punk’s a capella entrance made the insane crowd reaction sound even louder.
  • Punk was humble and he thanked fans for getting him through his grief. He acknowledged the recent passings of his dog Larry, backstage WWE employees Kerwin Silfies as well as his former MMA coach Duke Rufus. Punk said he stays ready, so he was able to become a world champion and defeat Jey Uso. Punk’s mention of Jey Uso’s yeeting received boos and Punk seemed legitimately confused.
  • Punk said you never know when a world championship opportunity will fall out of the sky. Punk was interrupted by Cody Rhodes, who was supporting a savage black eye.
  • Punk and Cody had an exchange befitting of two first-ballot Hall of Famers. Punk took exception to a comment of Cody saying he “feels a loser,” asking Cody “do you think I should feel a loser?” Punk playfully shook it off, and ended the promo by saying he’d stay ready for a possible WWE title shot. “Just say when,” said Rhodes.

  • Heyman cut an impassioned promo about Lesnar’s legendary career, drawing applause and “thank you Brock” chants. This was a great promo by Paul, but I remain skeptical about Brock’s retirement.
  • Heyman passed the mic to Logan Paul, who was booed out of the building. Paul said he was sick of outsiders coming into his business. This was MJF-level type heat. The booing was louder than anything that was booed all weekend. This includes the excessive WrestleMania commercials. Heyman subtly thanked career killer Gunther and said “I owe you one.”
