When I’m away from home, a travel 3-in-1 charger is one of the first things I pack. Keeping your gadgets topped up on work trips or vacations is essential, and a compact 3-in-1 will charge your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Many of these picks will also happily charge Qi2 Android phones and other devices that support wireless charging. Since space is at a premium when traveling, they all feature clever and compact folding designs.
If you want something for your desk or bedside cabinet, check out our Best Apple 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stations guide, and for power on the go, read our Best Power Banks and Best MagSafe Power Banks.
MagSafe and Qi2, Explained
Most of my picks are MagSafe or Qi2-certified wireless chargers. That means they take advantage of the magnets embedded in the back of the iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 17 range. The magnets ensure perfect alignment, enabling faster and more efficient wireless charging.
Qi2 is a wireless charging standard that Apple worked with the Wireless Power Consortium to develop. Compared to the original Qi standard, it brings MagSafe-style magnetic charging, enabling faster charging rates and improved efficiency. Apple updated the iPhone 12 and newer to support Qi2, but it’s not just for Apple phones; other phones can get Qi2 certification. While Qi2 Android phones are still thin on the ground, you’ll find Qi2 in Google’s Pixel 10 series, and there are Qi2-Ready phones that add magnets via a compatible case.
If you use a case, ensure it is a MagSafe or Qi2 compatible case. A normal case will weaken the pull of the magnets in the device and will not stick to chargers as well. If your case is too thick, your phone may not charge at all.
MagSafe is also available in the AirPods charging case (depending on your model). Apple’s AirPods and AirPods Pro with the wireless charging case will work with nearly all of the standard Qi wireless charging pads on these chargers (as will many third-party wireless earbuds), but if you have AirPods with MagSafe, then you can hook them up to the magnetic mounts as well.

MagGo 3-in-1 Charging Station (Qi2)
Amazon
Anker
Space is often limited when you travel, so the fact that Anker’s MagGo 3-in-1 folds down to a very compact form is handy. Despite the small size, it packs plenty of power, charging your iPhone or Qi2-certified phone at up to 15 watts on a magnetic pad that can adjust to your preferred angle. A second pad behind the main pad charges AirPods or other wireless earbuds, and there is a fold-out Apple Watch charger.

CryoBoost Qi2 25W 3 in 1 Charging Station
Amazon
ESR’s latest folding travel 3-in-1 brings 25-watt charging for Qi2 phones, fast Apple Watch charging, and an effective cooling fan. This 3-in-1 folds away neatly, the magnetic pad is strong and supports portrait or landscape orientation, and you can adjust the angles for the phone and watch chargers. It is relatively quiet, but I don’t any fan noise, so I was pleased to find a button to turn it off for when you’re trying to sleep.
The plastic construction doesn’t feel premium, but it is lightweight, and the rubber feet do a decent job of preventing it from sliding around. It is more expensive than ESR’s previous release, the HaloLock, which you’ll find in our honorable mentions below, and the faster charging probably isn’t worth it if you’re primarily charging overnight anyway, but overall this is a decent wee travel charger.
Specs Charging (per coil): 25 watts, 5 watts, 5 watts Extra ports: None In the box: 50-watt power supply, USB-C cable (5 feet/1.5 meters) Warranty: 2 years

3-in-1 Foldable Qi2 Wireless Charging Stand

Satechi
A classy mix of vegan leather and aluminum elevates this folding 3-in-1 charger. It is Qi2-certified, so it can deliver 15 watts to your iPhone, and there’s a fold-out Apple Watch charger on the back to fast-charge Apple Watch 7 and above. It feels sturdy and secure, allows you to fix your preferred angle, and supports StandBy mode. It’s relatively compact and looks good enough to be your permanent bedside charger. Not only does the whole thing fold flat, but it also comes with UK and EU adapters for the included power brick for your travels.
Specs Charging (per coil): 15 watts, 5 watts, 5 watts Extra ports: None In the box: 45-watt power supply, USB-C cable (3.6 feet/1 meter), travel adapters Warranty: 2 years -

Aria 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Station
Journey
With a refreshingly different finish, an elegant folding design, and a warm ambient light, this 3-in-1 from Journey is a handy travel companion. Ordinarily, I hate superfluous light on a charger, but this is no pointless LED; it’s a gentle glow that comes from behind the Apple Watch shelf on the back, with a touch-sensitive power button on the front. It’s a nice thing to have when you wake up in an unfamiliar, pitch-dark room. You can fold it out to stand mode to charge all three Apple gadgets, or you can lay it flat if you just need to charge your iPhone and AirPods.
Specs Charging (per coil): 15 watts, 5 watts, 5 watts Extra ports: None In the box: 30-watt power supply, USB-C cable (5 feet/1.5 meters), magnetic ring to add MagSafe compatibility to non-MagSafe phone cases Warranty: 1 year

OnTheGo 3-in-1 Charger
Walmart
Amazon
While this folding 3-in-1 charger isn’t quite as compact as Anker’s below, I love that you can use the iPhone charging pad when it’s folded up. It’s Qi2 certified for fast charging your iPhone at up to 15 watts, with 5-watt pads for your AirPods and Apple Watch. The Apple Watch charger can also pop up for Nightstand mode. It’s finished in a soft fake leather material and folds up neatly for easy carrying in the provided pouch. You get a cable to plug into the USB-C port, but no charger, so you’ll need to provide a 30-watt charger. There is also a 2-in-1 version ($80) just for your iPhone and Apple Watch.

MagGo UFO 3-in-1 Qi2 Charger
Anker
Amazon
If you are really pressed for space, this is the smallest 3-in-1 charger you can get. It folds up neatly to resemble a macaron and is easy to stow, but this is not a power bank, and you do still need a cable and wall charger (both supplied). Unfolded, you get a magnetic pad to charge your iPhone at up to 15 watts (this is Qi2-certified), a middle pad for your AirPods, and an Apple Watch charger on the right. The design is lovely to handle and has a soft-touch finish with a durable silicone strap. I still prefer stand-style chargers because they allow you to angle your iPhone and use StandBy mode, but the MagGo UFO allows you to travel as light as possible.

WatchIt Keychain Magnetic Fast Charger

This genius small gadget is perfect for folks who love to travel light. It’s an Apple Watch charger with a handy carabiner to clip onto your key ring or bag strap. Rotate the magnetic pad, and a USB-C jack pops out (just to be clear, this is not a power bank). You must plug it into your MacBook, a USB-C port in a wall adapter, or even your iPhone, to use it to fast charge your Apple Watch or wireless charging AirPods Pro case. Chargers don’t get more portable than this.

Other Good 3-in-1 Travel Chargers

Photograph: Simon Hill
Kuxiu Qi2 25W Travel Charging Station for $79: This charger folds down to an impressively small package, and it feels pretty solid with a silicone-covered metal construction. It can hit 25 watts for supported Qi2 phones, comes in a few different finishes, and ships with a 45-watt power adapter and USB-C cable in the box. Unfortunately, I don’t the way it looks, and I found it awkward to get all three devices charging at once. It’s actually too compact, so it feels crowded.

UAG 3-in-1 Travel and Desktop Charger
Photograph: Simon Hill
UAG 3-in-1 Travel and Desktop Charger for $170: This was close to earning a recommendation until I clocked the price. It’s a very smart 3-in-1 charging kit that folds flat and comes in a snazzy zip-up bag with a 4-foot braided USB-C cable and 25-watt power adapter, including plugs for the US, UK, and Europe. You can prop your iPhone at different angles on the MagSafe stand, and it works well with StandBy mode and Nightstand mode for your Apple Watch, but it’s not Qi2-certified, so you won’t get the stated 15-watt charging for an iPhone. Ultimately, it’s just too expensive.
Aukey MagFusion Z Qi2 3-in-1 Foldable Charging Station for $80: This clever 3-in-1 charging station folds flat very neatly and feels durable, but it’s kind of heavy for travel. I found my Apple Watch tended to lean on one side on the charger and didn’t work with Nightstand mode unless I folded it above the main charger, which is also the position required for the iPhone to sit in landscape orientation for StandBy mode.

Woodie Milano Foldie
Photograph: Simon Hill
Woodie Milano Foldie for $134: Combining Nappa leather with aluminum and glass, this 3-in-1 charger folds neatly away and looks very stylish. There’s a circular MagSafe iPhone charging pad (15 watts), a central pad for AirPods, and you can charge your Apple Watch flat or pop the charger up for Nightstand mode. You can also fold it into a wedge shape to charge your iPhone in StandBy mode with your Apple Watch on the back. You get a USB-C cable in the box, but you’ll need your own wall charger.
Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger With MagSafe for $110: This little travel kit comes with a carrying case, charging brick, and USB-C cable. The square stack unfolds to reveal three wireless chargers in one elongated pad. The iPhone sticks magnetically to the center (15 watts), and the Apple Watch dock supports Nightstand mode (this 2023 model supports fast charging too). There’s a grooved spot for the AirPods. It feels great, is compact, and is pretty lightweight all around.
Twelve South Butterfly 2-in-1 MagSafe Charger for $100: This is an uber compact 2-in-1 charger that looks a hockey puck. Open the Butterfly, and you’ll find two pads that are attached via a rubbery silicone material. You can fast charge an Apple Watch on one—even pop the charger up to take advantage of Nightstand mode— and the other circle lets you recharge your MagSafe iPhone at 15 watts. It’s a super compact solution, and Twelve South includes a 30-watt charger and cable with international plug adapters.
Native Union Voyage 2-in-1 MagSafe Charger for $100: For a slightly lower price, reviews editor Adrienne So also s Native Union’s Qi2 butterfly solution, which doesn’t come with plug adapters but does come in a tidy travel pouch and has a cable.
ESR HaloLock 3-in-1 Travel Wireless Charging Set for $44: This is a decent travel kit at a reasonable price. You can prop your iPhone in portrait or landscape orientation, display your Apple Watch in Nightstand mode (if you turn it backward), and there is a pad for AirPods. It folds with the included cable and wall charger in a faux leather pouch. Sadly, it only charges iPhones at 7.5 watts.
Avoid These Chargers
Mous Travel Charger: While the compact folding nature of this charger and the low price impressed me, it gets kinda warm when you charge all three of your Apple devices, and the AirPods spot is finicky.
